I'yard at a Honda dealer, sitting at around xc. Just been at it for a year there, and with covid-19 we're at nigh half of what we normally do, then hoping to hit half-dozen figures next year.

level 2

That's awesome!! Is the Honda dealer in NY?

level 1

I work at a Chevy dealership and probably gonna do effectually 65k. Its my first full year at information technology. Pretty fricking stressful job. Every mean solar day is different equally a service advisor.

level 2

Yeah I agree with you on that one. Your day might be going peacefully and side by side thing yous know you got a come back.

level 1

Working at a Subaru dealership in large metro expanse, non exactly target market for Subarus though. Im on track to exercise about 100k afterwards bonuses. Most my third year at this dealership, v years with the brand. If your already at 85, you'll intermission 6 figures soon. I've seen steady increases as my customer base increases the longer I'1000 hither.

level 2

Dude that crawly!! Yeah I can't wait (:

level 2

A fellow subie advisor. I do express advising. Is it actually that much pay? And is it worth it? I'one thousand 22 and I'm really wanting to do principal shop but this express crap is called-for me out with xx-25 appointments a twenty-four hour period

level one

I was an advisor for a Chevy dealership

Year 1 - $30k Year 2 - $55k Year iii - $72k Twelvemonth iv - Concluding twenty-four hour period October 12th and was already at $70k

Coin was like shooting fish in a barrel and almost a cake walk. Technician work omnipresence, my stress/health, and weekends was the deciding factor to plow in the keys.

Took a HUGE HUGE paycut, but me and the wife are happier and I'thou not Expressionless on the couch after work.

level two

Totally concur with yous. I work weekdays 6:30am -6 Pm! And sometimes on Sat :o money is the motivator for me- but I'm out as soon every bit I can effigy out another source of income :)! I'grand glad y'all're doing meliorate.

level 1

I'm on track for 60-70k at the independent I'm at right at present in a decent sized metro surface area. Hoping to jump ship before long though and interruption into the dealer market.

level two

Careful. The one matter the Dealership will build your pay-plan on or around is CSI. And you near likely do not have to worry about that at your Independent. Keep that in mind as you lot negotiate your salary.

level one

Currently around $70k which is better than decent in S Florida at a GM store. Currently working on getting out of the industry though. Definitely other, amend opportunities out in that location financially speaking and with equal or less stress.

level 2

I definitely agree with you on that! I'chiliad trying to get out of this industry past summer 2021! Just trying to save up as much equally I can :)

level ane

I got out but my concluding twelvemonth I cleared 131,000 not afterwards taxes obviously.

level 1

I'one thousand on my 3rd year as an advisor for the quick lube portion of the service department. Offset twelvemonth did 70k, second year 77k. As for this year, I was off for 2 months due to covid and am currently sitting at 60k. This is Canadian dollars mind yous.

I probably wouldn't do the "real" counselor function as the 3 on the other side are ever at each other's neck. I experience to exercise my own thing and run a "department within a section". I love information technology

level 1

I make $45 a year bacon? So let me ask a impaired question. Practise u guys get paid commission? I'yard new to this and $45k a year for me personally was like winning the lottery around where I live but the stress and the long hours doesn't really seem to exist worth information technology. I drive to work in the dark and bulldoze dwelling in the nighttime.

level 2

Base bacon is $32k and and so the rest is commission. I'thousand in NYC and most of my co workers make six figures, I hitting $103k for the first time. Of grade this varies by store! Honestly this job is stressful as is, you're running effectually a lot, and you lot get blamed for stuff that is out of your control. I wouldn't be doing this if information technology were for the amount of coin I brand. Good luck!!

level ane

I'm an express writer at a Subaru dealership and make five-half dozen hundred a week.

level 1

This yr was my all-time yet. Cracked $85,000 CAD working at a GM dealer in Western Canada. I've been an advisor for over 5 years now.

level 1

Y'all extremely overpaid! I worked equally a service counselor at a Ford dealership for 10 years and never made over $24,000, even afterward sales bonuses.

Of class that was from 2000-2010 in a small rural area........

level 2

Omg I wouldn't exercise this job if I was paid less than 80k hell no- the BS you have to deal with at times is not worth it.
